wooooahh, had no idea about that, thanks for the heads up … i was hoping he'd release another album with The Fire Theft, is he working on a solo album instead?

that's 80s, right? i'd have to go with the acoustic version of "detroit has a skyline too" for superchunk

came out in 1990

was anyone else at that superchunk show at the black cat like five or six years ago where they let a fan write the setlist and just played tons of old hits and covers? i think the encore was "born to run," "gold soundz," "detroit has a skyline" and maybe "seed toss." goddamn that was a fun show.
