Ladies: Show-going shoe question

Who CARES what your girlfriends think? They're just jealous 'cuz they can't FIT in a size 6….pair of Docs.

these are what i wear to most shows…except in navy blue. if i'm not in those, im in vans slip-ons or chucks.

i also wouldn't be caught dead in any of the aforementioned shoe suggestions, but that's just me :)

sometimes, they go on sale. You used to be able to get them for super cheap (like 50 bucks), which is when I bought my lot.

I have huge feet. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Size 15. I don't have THAT much trouble finding shoes but for example, there's a company called Oddball Shoes which specialize in big shoes. Of the 117 shoes listed in their latest catalog, only 16 were wider than D.

hahah, no. when *i* was around 32. i use to probably have 4 different pairs of docs. now i'm down to one.

This is my favorite thread ever :) I love the Lacoste flats, Miss P.

btw, i realized quickly last night after the show began that steel toed boots is a very good idea, for men and women.

Those lacoste flats are an abomination. If my girl bought those, I'd have to consider breaking off the engagement. At least the other ugly shoes (danskos, etc.) have some functionality to recommend them.

Seriously, just buy another pair of docs. They work, they have a subcultural association you seem to appreciate, and they're not outrageously expensive.

white shoes are ok if you are exercising and never any other time

i wear docs to work all the time. for shows i go with whatever new balance/saucony/puma shoe i have

Based on the evidence provided in a WMATA poster, it's a bad idea to wear flip-flops if one intends to use the escalators. In the picture of actually mangled footwear within the system were flip-flops.

i once saw this guys pant leg get ripped off as he was going up the escalator. can u imaging walking home with one pant leg and exposed boxers…poor guy.
