no way.

there's no point in ever buying single game tickets for any professional sport.

you'll find better seat locations for cheaper than face on craigslist … season ticket holders dump their unwanted seats, and they pay less than face value for their tix, right now they're trying to get face value for their seats, but the market will stabilize once the season opens and they'll realize they'll have to sell for below face …

my friend has wizards season tickets, pays $37.50 a game for $80 face seats … he goes to 15 or so games a year, sells the rest for $60-70 (more for lakers, etc) and ends up making money on the whole thing

i was actually considering getting a 41 game half-season ticket package for the nationals in the upper outfield reserve ($350ish) and just selling the opening day seats on ebay or CL, the opening day tix are going for $200-300 per ticket, so one idiot who just has to go to opening day would basically pay for the rest of your season.

maybe here, your system would not work for cardinals tickets in st. louis though

I considered buying tickets for the saturday cardinals game here in august and had baseline box seats on ticketmaster, but decided against it $40 is too much, i will decide closer to the date

was at rfk to buy them (no service charge). . got opening day weekend, cubs series and padres series. unfortunately, i'll be out of town for when the a's come through. . which means i'll probably have to peel off some cabbage to see them in balmer. . .
Since this is a u2 thread, I'll at least wade in confrontation. What is it with baseball people enjoy? Yeah, I know "something for everybody"… but when I grew up in the sticks and played LL, I thought it was cool… but then when I moved more urban (10 years ago), BB really got lost for me. Defining moment: Sitting in Camden Yards one summer afternoon about 6 years ago, just reading a paper. No action, players going through motions, steroid ball (recently). At least in the comforts of my own home, this activity cost 50 cents, that summer afternoon was way more than that. Never again.
hmmm not quite sure what to say about this mp3, other than i'm only the messenger… it will surely offend U2 fans or people drinking the red koolaid, without a sense of humour.

How long will we sing this song

FYI as a point of reference before clicking that link… Emergency Broadcast Network - "We Will Rock you"
Oh my! That is blinking great.
the other two on 3hive are really good as well… the combo of Imagine/Walk on the Wild Side is brillant.
ggw can skip "I'm John Kerry" ;)
like oh my god. i never used my u2 password, because i am a boring dolt who can't follow directions, and like so i tried to get tickets at todays presale, and oh my god, i got floor tickets for madison square garden in november. i've never been to msg or even new york city (get a rope), so even if i like have to stand the entire time, i will be like, 'oh my god, they have that cool doggie show here and i'm here, and bono is like so . . . not that good for cher's career!!"
