I intend to be too intoxicated to do anything other than roll down the stairs into the backbar. The last 2 times south played they hang out after the show and were quite entertaining.

Will likely be there, at least for Metric and some of South. Last time I saw them they opened for Cornelius, who was aweseome. I almost fell asleep for their set.

Can't compare it to the South show, but Myracle Brah was running like a well tuned engine last night. Even on an off night the band is scorching, but last night it all came together for one of the best sets I've even seen them do. Guess it's what happens when one gets a chance to tour Spain and get a little airplay. They started with six straight songs off "Treblemaker" and then proceeded with a typical greatest hits list. Awesome stuff, lets hope the fire is still there on Friday!

So, somehow I managed to consume 14 beers and a pepsi with vodka yesterday. I had a great day. Thanks to the suppliers.
Metric were absolutely perfect live. I can imagine that was how blondie was at her best. Seeing South afterward was bumping into an ex-girlfriend right after you had fallen in love at first sight.
