damnit that makes me SOOOOO MAD :mad: why do they think having an abstinence only program is going to help? there's still going to be pressure. there's going to be more teen pregnancy. there are going to be more depressed teens who want to have sex but are only taught that it's bad and makes them wrong. have they thought about the pressure THEY are putting on the children? maybe they should be teaching about pressure and how to learn to deal with it without relenting, and teach not to pressure others. children are curious, they're going to explore, they're going to ask questions. you can't force-feed people, they're going to look for other answers. god damnit it just makes me so irate that people are so intoxicated with their own ideas that they can't let other people think differently.
