Less Impossible Mixtape

I've been thinking about this one for awhile now: A cross-country mixtape. Each song on the tape has to mention by name a place in the US, and the songs will be organized by location, east to west or west to east.

Stipulations to make things interesting: the location can't be in the title of the song and even if the song has multiple locations mentioned, only one can be included (so don't be funny and go with "I've Been Everywhere.")

Some songs to start:
Arcade Fire- Cold Wind (San Francisco)
Bob Dylan- Tangled Up in Blue (New Orleans)
Arcade Fire- Cold Wind (San Francisco)
Casiotone for the Painfully Alone - Blue Corolla (Phoenix)
Bob Dylan- Tangled Up in Blue (New Orleans)
Lucero - Raising Hell (Austin)
Route 66 - Depeche Mode - take your pick on location.

Have a Nice Day - Stereophonics - San Francisco
Lou Reed - Walk on the Wildside (Miami, F-L-A)
I've been Everywhere - Johnny Cash
Jiving Sister Fanny by the Rolling Stones (Philadelphia, PA)

Radiation Vibe by Fountains of Wayne (Pittsburgh, PA)

America by Simon and Garfunkel (Pittsburgh, PA and Saginaw, MI)

Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes (Wichita, KS)

I Left My Wallet in El Segundo by A Tribe Called Quest (El Segundo, CA)

Motorcycle Boy by Gutterball (Oxnard, CA, Abliene and Dallas, TX)

Brian
Starbuck "Moonlight Feels Right" (Baltimore, Chesapeake Bay)
James Brown "Night Train" (lotsa East Coast cities)
Streets of Baltimore-Gram Parsons
Something tells me our reading comprehension skills aren't up to par today…

Oh yeah:

I Left My Wallet in El Segundo by A Tribe Called Quest (El Segundo, CA)
Great song, but it breaks the rules.
I don't start comprehending until after noon.

Sorry, double post.
Bob Dylan - "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" (NYC)
Why not just make a mix tape with only "Route 66" on it?

Just kidding.
Ten or 11 Towns Ago–Lee Hazlewood (Denver)
Liz Phair - "Stratford-on-Guy" (Chicago)
Pavement - "Unfair" (Sacramento and other CA cities)
Grateful Dead - "Friend of the Devil" (Reno)

and for a way-obscure city:
REM - "Can't Get There From Here" (Philomath, GA)

Man, I gotta get back to work.
"Dancin' in the Streets" has a slew of cities, including Baltimore and DC.
heart of rock and roll - huey lewis & the news - reference a ton of cities as well starting with new york - then sunset strip hollywood - DC, San Antone and the Liberty Town, Boston and Baton Rouge
Tulsa, Austin, Oklahoma City, Seattle, San Francisco, too

you could use just this and route 66 and you'd be covered :D
Death Cab for Cutie - Why You'd Want To Live Here (Los Angeles, CA)
