Thank you! That was exactly what I wanted to talk to Fico about. Has US Weekly ruined The Hills? I'm watching what could have been the greatest plot twist of all time (one friend leaks a false rumor that the other is in a sex video with her ex) and I'm not the slightest bit shocked because I've already read about it and I know how it ends. This disturbs me. If the whole season is like this - I think the show is doomed.

Here's the thing - when you're 18 you don't need to wear pigtails because you're already young, so the pigtail count is way down today as it's only the freshmen class today. I expect it to go way up next week when the upperclassmen arrive (and when the freshman parents leave).

One other thing I observed today that I feel the need to share. I had the hottest mom come up to me to ask me a question about something, I mean smokin hot and I actually thought to myself, "if this is the mother, I've got to meet the daughter!" Turns out the daughter was not very attractive at all. What are the chances? I've seen a lot of cute girls who's mother I was surprised wasn't very hot (which as a rule you run away from because they all end up like their mother), but how many hot moms have unattractive daughters? A rarity, I feel.

I wonder if the mom recognizes it and feels bad? I think I'd feel a bit bad and maybe embarrassed if my kid was ugly and/or a geek.

But then again, as a non-looker with a Star Wars addiction, I'm not one to judge.

Smackette last night decided to label my quandry the "Demi Moore Corollary"" as according to her, Rumor Willis (her oldest daughter) was lucky enough to get the best of her fathers traits and not her mothers.

Of course, this made me worry that if my daughters come out ugly it will be my fault as smackettes pretty hot. after losing a few hours sleep I remembered that I can be a pretty hot chick so i'm back to worrying about what I'm going to do when they turn 13.

If we're going to objectify this poor girl, shouldn't we be objectifying her for her mind and/or interesting personality? Lusting after her based on her physical appearence is really a shallow and self-condemning practice that says more about the guys in this thread then it does Hayden. Try and show a little class, guys!
