good/fun places to watch election results?

anyone got any suggestions? where will you watch the polling results? will you be watching?

i'm trying to decide between watching them in my hotel room (BYOB, ability to change channels at will) vs. going out. watched the last election results in a bar and had a hoot, despite the outcome.

and before all the cooler-than-thou hipsters pipe up: this is DC. presidential elections are as big as the super bowl. i know of at least one place that is selling $50 open-bar tickets…
i was actually wondering the same thing sweetie.

interesting. might potentially be too dorky for me, what with the professor giving a talk and all, or maybe not…

yeah but for that you get the "BYT Bikini Squad." :D

Come to Wonderland!
There really is no better place than one's own home… when you watch election results at bars/hotels you can never really hear anything and its tough to focus on whats going on…Also at home you can have a laptop or two giving you the instant results unfiltered…Lastly, at home I can drink to my heart/livers content practically for free….

I think i'm staying in and once its clear Obama has finally defeated these bunch of crooks that have been running the country into the ground I'll go out and celebrate at the Mayflower and/or U street..

now let me make sure that champagne bottle is in the fridge…
Does anyone know where I can buy noisemakers? Does CVS carry them?
My couch post-Bad Brains show.

Hopefully by then though, it'll all be over and I'll get home just in time for the victory/concession
speeches.
UGH! You should all come to the Iota and see Jolie Holland! COME ON. I'll even let you buy me drinks.
No Street Teaming allowed here…

Yeah, but it's $25 if you don't come coked up and only wearing your underwear.

Oh no, I hope you don't mean a regular refrigerator! It should be a crime for people not to own a proper wine chiller. Vinocide should get you a nickel in a federal pen.
