I'm interested in hearing Ima Robot too, but have a going away HH and may not make it. I wish Ima were playing second; looks like they're first out of three.
Have I got that right?

HH is happy hour. I will try for Ima, honest I will!
I don't think it will sell out fast; the last Hot Hot Heat show about six months ago was maybe half full.

If you want to play a game at the show, count how many people have chunky white hipster belts at the show. I felt quite left out as mine was at home.

Another good game is to count how many kids are instant messaging someone from the show! I predict….half.

I saw their April (?) show at 9:30, and it was fun. I didn't have their album yet (or e.p., or whatever it is), I just stopped by to see what they were like. A lot of energy, the lead singer is a little over the top, but I'd rather that than indie cool standing still.
I'd recommend it.

Definitely effete – he reminded me of a coiffed garage version of Mitch Easter.
And that's when I decided pants *that* tight are not attractive on any man.

i'm so there.
I'll be there. And everyone in the front better be dancing.
Ima be there…surprised it's not sold-out. Saw them at the Ottobar this summer and they rocked!
anyone coming down for the hhh show should be aware that howard's homecoming is that night. be prepared for traffic delays if you're coming from the north. i'd suggest using 13th street to avoid the hassle on georgia.

i had the same experience, but they didn't thrill me enough to go out and want to see them again this friday.

Turns out I probably can't make it. I have both a goodbye dinner and a goodbye happy hour Friday. And I want to see Ima Robot as much if not more than Hot Hot Heat.
:(

Oh my God! You guys are going to miss an awesome show on Friday! HHH is excellent! I haven't seen IMA ROBOT yet, but have their new CD and it's fantastic. I can't beleive you don't think the singer Steve in HHH is super sexy- :p I like his tight pants. It reminds me of the old glam/punk days. Anything's better than those outdated baggy pants that all the litttle boys wear. Hey baby, the 80's are coming back whether you like it or not!
I'll see ya at the show!!!

I was thinking of hitting the HHH show and then checking out the Electrotease party at Five with Mira from Ladytron. (It's been forever since I've been able to check the board, boo-hoo..)
Oops, I'm repeating myself already.
