Hey! I just wanted to let everyone know that Matisyahu will be playing at GW's Smith Center on Sunday, April 9th. Tickets are $25.50 through Ticketmaster. Doors open at 7pm.

I missed him when he was here in December. I'm so excited he's going to be here now! Yay!

This is great news! I thought Mahavishnu Orchestra had broken up in the Mid-70's. Cant wait!

I dont understand why people like this guy so much….whats the deal? is there a secret to this?

Dude…he's a Hasidic Jew rapper! Don't see one of those every day.

I remember reading about when the Sex Pistols were in NY, Sid thought the Hasidic's outfits were so cool that he was approaching then asking where he could buy some for himself. Imagine how horrified they must have been.

Exactly. He's a fad. Hula Hoop. Pet rock. Hasidic rapper.

Plus, he just fired his long-time managers (who run a non-profit company in order to assist Jewish artists), over the phone the day before his new album was released. He signed on with Gary Gersh, a well-known industry scumbag who takes credit for discovering Nirvana. I'm sure it was because of Gersh's spirituality, nothing to do with money and ego.
