Unless something else I'm forgetting is happening that night, I will be there. I've never been to the Tavern, though. What's it like?

You got me thinking……. Actually it is the same night as Travis, so sorry, but I wont be going.

The tavern from what Jadetree said was small and shitty…..

AWK just did a free show for GWU students two weeks ago, and apparently only 100-200 kids showed up for it

Are you not thinking of the show at Lulu's that was free and sponsored by DC101 about a month ago?

No not the Lulu's show- it was GWU and I noticed him in the Tower Records there signing stuff at the desk before the show- it was like a Will Farrell bit on SNL- there were about 5 people waiting to get CDs signed which would've taken about 1 minute, but he spent 5 minutes apologizing to them how he had to go do the show across the street ; a loud speech that cycled around and around "I'm sorry I have to go do the show and can't stay to sign stuff but I'll be back after the show, so I'm sorry but I have to go do the show and can't stay to sign stuff but….", ad infinitum. What a stoner! Then the GW Hatchet article about it said few students showed up
