Jaguar, I'm thinking no. Me and a friend were there a week after Isabel had hit and the place was running just as usual. No damage was visible on any of their stock or to the premises.

Talked to one of the employees I know there and they were totally cool from in. That part of Fells suvived intact. No damage to that store, but Fletchers got some basement damage (they own that too I believe).

Does Vinyl Ink still exist in Silver Spring? Haven't been there in years but they had quite the vinyl selection.

From all of the news footage of Fells Point, it looked like Soundgarden would have suffered a fair amount of damage with the shelving being it's saving grace. Glad to hear that all is okay with them.

I didn't even consider Fletcher's with it being so much farther away from the water. That's really bad. At least the club and the bar are okay but I don't know what all they use the basement for. Hope that they have decent insurance and that they can get back on their feet in no time. Especially considering that it's one of the few places in Baltimore that I really like.

Hmmm…it's a nice space, but the sound could use a little work. I was there when some friends of mine soundchecked, and their equipment picked up radio frequencies the whole time. Even after the sound guy (who was genuinely helpful) adjusted some of the amps, there was still a loud buzz coming through the speakers. Apparently this is just a problem they live with.

Lol. Notice I said, "in Baltimore". The Ottobar and The Mojo are about the only other two that I like and they aren't a whole lot better. Not enough Indie Rockers left in Baltimore anymore to invest too much state-of-the art right now. As far as I'm concerned, that's to the area's loss.

Actually I always blame the smoke eaters from the bar downstairs. They are right under the stage, have a real high voltage (and I assume transformers to make that) and give the buzz. Still nothing can ever compare to Fort Reno for buzz. There it is amazing as you have TV and radio coming through everything.
