Thats what I was thinking.
LA is on sale on Friday…I would imagine the others will be around the same time. Good gawd. The Aragon better be prepared. I remember hearing when they played the Metro in 1991 that it was some loud shit. So it's definitely all 4 from the "classic" lineup then, eh? That is good.
damnit no dc/baltimore date. looks like i'm in for the chicago date.
i'm in for one of the nyc shows. maybe both.
Ditto.

The Concourse is an interesting choice for SF. I'll guess I'll go to that one.
why oh why roseland… ah well. guess im headed there. the major plus - a few blocks from where i live :D
Yeah…at least you don't have to get on a plane! That being said, I can kill a few birds with one stone by going to Chicago by paying a visit to the family and having a free place to sleep, plus I can get more miles on United.
Any word on a NYC onsale?
Not that I could find yet.
Dang. I hope UM/Wisconsin is a 12:00 pm game. I could be out of Ann Arbor by 4 and in Chicago by 8, if all goes well. If it's a 3:30 kickoff, I'm screwed. :(
let's see, i'll start.

i think a bigger concern will be the ability to score tix for both nights - methinks this will be a very quick sell-out. you'll need back-up - someone else will have to try for tickets to the other night.

or am i over-estimating the demand for a reunited MBV?

joe, i don't remember the last time you liked anything… you not liking something is becoming quite predictable :p

i dunno if youre overestimating, but id prob guess yes. considering they were giving away verve tix (1/2 price tix were available night of), i cant imagine MBV is going to create that much more buzz. I think Roseland might even be bigger than the WAMU theater (but i could be really wrong on that one).

wamu: "The WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden, which seats between 2,000 and 5,600 for concerts"

roseland: "The venue according to its website can accommodate 3,200 standing (with an additional 300 upstairs)".

i'm thinking that the capacity for the verve was at wamu's higher end, since they had a pit instead of seats. so it appears that the verve @ wamu held more people then mbv @ roseland will, but not by a huge amount. and TM was offering half-price verve tix several days before the show, i remember that i got an e-mail and pulled up a pair of sec 300 row A.
I thought this thread would have 200 posts by now.

For shame, 930 forum.
