New Years Eve Plans

Black Cat's always a reliable, albeit obvious, bet.
we're headed to lobsterboy for some vaudville and burlesque fun. www.lobsterboy.net.

cheap, low key, and metro accessible.
Umphrey's McGee at the Rivierra Theater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best show to be at on NYE at least in Chicago if not the whole country. Been sold out for a good while though.

Asylum or St. Ex, on the other hand, are free of charge.
Could anyone who posts on this board actually afford to get drunk at St. Ex?
why don't you treat us for a round Scientist boy? ;)

i would've done GBV, but the people i'm with aren't into that scene.

Sounds like you hang around with some smart people.
Is anyone else still hungover from New Year's Eve (like me)?

I'm not going near shots of Jagermeister again - I don't care if (like this past time) it is someone's birthday or not. ;)

Cheers

DJ Medusa.
How many did you have? Those things are vicious….But one of my favorites. :D

as one who was "smart" enough to go to gbv's last show, i was rewarded with an absolutely f*cking amazing experience. gbv played for 3.5+ hours and dusted off a lot of tracks from the older albums. the crowd was filled with hardcore gbv fans from way back and it definitely was the place to be on nye, in chicago or otherwise.

i was center downstairs, at the back in front of the sound board.
