Can you believe – only $15 for tickets. Oy.
Got 'em! Guess it wasn't my password sleuthing that was holding things up.
Just got two tickets!
I had same problem…I couldn't get 1 ticket, went through the homepage again, and suddenly 2 tickets were available. Sweet.

I know! They should be charging more than that! Maybe this is the real reason why they are breaking up? They're not making enough money to make it worth their while! Wasn't there an article a while back that said they still had full-time jobs?
Is there an opener or is it just Sleater-Kinney?

Good question! We don't know yet, but they usually have an opener… Dead Meadow last year, The Thermals in 2004, and The Quails and V for Vendetta in 2002. Ah, fond memories….
I'm surprised there are still tickets available through the pre-sale…
Got my ticket! Thanks guys (you know who you are).

There is an opener, but I forget who it is. It isn't the Thermals.
I think it would be cool if they announced – a day or two befor the tour starts, when all the tix are sold out – that Pearl Jam was the opener. Someone should look into that.
My vote's for Quasi, although probably wouldn't happen. I bet since it's their last tour it will be a band that's close to them since they'll want to have fun and go out with a bang.

TOOL or Elvis are my votes for the openers.

There is a monthly newsletter called "Volume" that comes by old-fashioned snail mail. That is where the S-K pre-sale info was.

Go to the frontpage (www.930.com) and click on "mail list" to submit your address.

Ah, very good to know. Thanks!
I've submitted my address a couple times in the past few years and have yet to receive a Volume in my mailbox. Maybe 930 needs to team up with Val-Pak. I always get my Val-Pak.

And the Rogers Sisters are opening for S-K.
I got my Volume newsletter late last week.

Ironically, I can't stand Sleater Kinney so the password was of no use to me.

About half the time, it arrives about 2 days after a password is needed for the monthly sale. Maybe they should try to stagger the dates just a bit. Don't know all of the logistics of what is involved though.

Very good opening band, can't remember who I saw them open with at the Black Cat a couple of years ago, maybe a few years, but they were good.
