i heard on the tony kornheiser show this morning that ESPN was going to replay this as an "instant classic" tonight at 8pm, but I don't see it on either their ESPN1 or ESPN classic schedules …
It's not on the schedule because it is an "Instant Classic" and therefore couldn't be scheduled in advance. They replayed it last night and will do so agian today. It was on ESPN Classic last night.

And while we're giving out accolades, Barca, congrats to your squad as well. That too was a long time coming.

aha, i just assumed they'd be able to update their online schedule

You should know what happens when you assume…

"Instant Classic Thursday at 10 ET on ESPN Classic."

as amazing as last night was, it's still not the greatest comeback in Champions League history. That accolade was won in 1999. No extra time, no penalties, just a great comeback to win it outright fair and square :)
Had Liverpool scored the winner in regulation, it would rival the '99 game, but you're right, with yesterday's extra time and penalties (which are crap), the '99 game is still the greatest comeback in Champions League history.

arrrrrrgh, that means no new cheap seats!!

anyone else watch that show? i think it's 90% hilarious, which is a tough ratio to achieve…
Typical Buccaneers supporters replies! You get bent out of shape when the spotlight isn't on your team.

One of the most thrilling things in sport is when the underdogs rise up and slay the giants. Yeah, Liverpool isn't up there with the cream of the Premiership, but neither is their payroll. Don't worry boys, Papa Glazer will do his best to buy you some trophies too!

Whether you like it or not, Liverpool are the Champions. They beat some great teams to get where they are today. Stop your sour grapes and let them enjoy their moment in the sun.

Liverpool has won the Champions Cup five times, that's the same amount as all the other English clubs, combined!

I'll take luck over the Buccaneers anyday of the week! :D

hey there!!!

as a bleed-pewter-and-red bucs fan who can talk at great length about our practice squad and NFL europe players, i can tell you that glazer has been a fantastic owner who didn't merely "buy" a championship for the bucs … they've made great business decisions, have a fantastic new stadium, and turned a franchise that was the laughing stock of the league into a championship caliber team

now if we can just get back to a .500 winning % i'll be happy =)

blah blah blah…..yeah but, will you all have cheerleaders at Anfield next season? NO! I thought not~ :D
When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm

There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Put that in your Manchester Buccaneers crackpipe and smoke it! :p
Holy shit, look at this, some Mancunians who AREN'T insecure. Of course they're Manchester City supporters.

OASIS celebrated LIVERPOOL FCâ??s incredible CHAMPIONS LEAGUE victory at an intimate LONDON gig last night (May 25).

The band didnâ??t come on stage at the Coronet until the match between Liverpool and AC Milan had been shown on a giant screen, in front of thousands of drunken fans.

Instead of coming on to their traditional intro tape of 'Fuckinâ?? In The Bushesâ??, the band came on to Liverpoolâ??s anthem â??Youâ??ll Never Walk Aloneâ??, bathed in red light.

Speaking recently about the show, Noel Gallagher explained: "The gig was sold out and I said, 'Instead of getting a support band, why don't we get a big screen and stick it in the middle of the stage so everyone can watch the game. Then we'll play after the game and get a late curfew'. They all went for it, so we hired a big cinema thing."

Liam Gallagher dedicated 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' to the Italian fans. AC Milan were 3-0 up at half-time, but ended losing on penalties 3-2 after extra time after Liverpool came back to draw 3-3.
Shitty fans celebrate anything that Man United don't win….they probably had a party for Arsenal last saturday. It's due to the fact they don't get much opportunity to celebrate their own team actually winning anything.

Now we're left with Tim Howard…..that's reassuring! ;)

Seriously though….Carroll? What was he thinking, making demands like that? Good riddance.

Absolutely.

But we're surely going to go after somebody else just in case, right Mank? Still think it will be Given?
