i just listened to the first side of "Doolittle" four times in a row, it's pretty fucking incredible:

it's almost over-kill … the rest of the album is great, but in a much different, less-direct way … the first side is just so remarkable that you don't even want to flip it over

When the Baltimore power-pop band Starbelly played IOTA a few weeks ago they did a really good job on the Abbey Road side 2 medley. Starbelly are great… I wish they'd play DC regularly
