The Hall Monitors are the awesomest band I've seen in a while!

And then there's that band that practices twice a week over on Girard St. NW. They're pretty good, I would love to know who they are.

If you like bands like R.E.M, the Lemonheads or the Wrens, I'd recommend The Known Unknowns.

DC is hurting when it comes to good local music. Last local band i liked was Canyon.
