I can't tell, is this gonna sell out quickly? Do they normally play shows this small in the states?
Prodigy
i've never known them to play anything other than clubs. 930 might be a tad on the small side, but it's more or less what they usually play in the US. my completely unfounded opinion is that this won't sell out immediately, but i wouldn't wait to get tickets. by all accounts their show at Nation in 2006 was pretty epic so there will be demand. smaller club + buzz from last show + haven't played in a few years = get tickets sooner rather than later.
threre won't be any tickets left at the door, if that's what you're asking (then again, tonight's NYC show isn't sold out yet, although i suspect there will be a lot of walk-ups)
i got an e-mail from a friend who saw them last night in toronto. show was about an hour long, no fancy light show only pots and strobes (sorry walkies), played mostly from the new album although they threw in the classics, was very loud, place didn't stop jumping with manic energy. over all, a good but not mind-blowing show… take with a grain of salt, he's rather jaded.

I'd have to say this show will easily sellout rather quickly, considering how many people packed Nation the last time they came through!
I still loved the show they put on at HFSTival right after Beck.

it has to sell out, has to.

Party like it's 1997….
Hmmm… same night as Bruce, so trying to think about logistics. Would love to see both – talk about dichotomy – but unless Prodigy goes on later, that likely won't happen.
The 35 ticket price doesn't help…

probably holed up with Superstar DJ Keoki.
of the three, the chem bros are the ones i'd be most excited to see. definitely not sneezing on the prodigy or crystal method, but the chem's show 2 years back in NYC was almost on par with daft punk.

Out of Space??? SO totally there. Awesome that they're covering all their bases. I wish "Girls" were on there, I love that song.
yeah they've been closing with Out of Space for the past couple of years now, I say its a safe bet that they'll end with it here. They've also talked about playing Thunder live (rumor is they're going to play it in Miami for the first time), so maybe we'd get that too.
And this is pretty neat, this is something they're doing for one of the UK gigs in April:
from www.theprodigy.com
"The band want to drop a couple of old tunes in their set at the Brixton show. Vote from the following list and you'll get to hear the two most requested tracks on the night.
You can vote for:
RHYTHM OF LIFE
WIND IT UP
GIRLS
THE HEAT THE ENERGY
MESCALINE
BREAK N ENTER
NO GOOD"
Maybe if they get comfy playing them they'll appear in the set again later on!
