Did Obama violate copyright law with iPod gift?
don't you think posting this on a site that not so quietly enjois "stealing music" of the internet, sort of amusing?
in theory all they would need to do is buy a iTunes gift card and repurchase the tracks and delete them….
it's also interesting to note that in this gadget happy digital age the focus is on the iPod and not the rare signed songbook also give as part of the gift…
and to think all that was received in return was a couple signed pictures :P

that's because it's amusing to some the less-than-thoughtful gifts so far given by this administration to english leaders. . .that being said, i think that the signed songbook is far more thoughtful, and someone probably went to a lot of trouble to track something like that down- instead of the 10 minutes in best buy or in the white house gift shop, like previous gifts.
oh, and that goes without commenting on that he gave the queen audio copies of his own speeches. . . . . . . .

This bit from the article made me LOL:
UPDATE: Prof. Michael Froomkin points out that the Queen enjoys sovereign immunity under UK law because she is, well, the sovereign.
