first, we have the fact that dc might be the next place to accept gay marriage. and if so, i know what my partner and i will be doing. ;D :P :-*
second, the following television shows are invading the dc area:
a. america's got talent - not really that exciting, but a good laugh and should poke an interesting eye at the local "talent" that desperately wants to be on tv, that we have to offer the world.
b. the new season of the real world - now this is the good and juicy one. dupont and the 930 club beware. oh the trouble to get into with those naughty party people.
c. there is a "new version" of the hills that will take place in the setting of, you guessed it, dc - don't know much about the hills except for that it appeared from the outside to cater to whiny brat punks who think they own the world before they are even twenty. perfect for this see through town of "cater to me."

I thought there was a late night shots reality show in the works?
Talk about a show that will put the city's douchery on display.

i would love to see a "930 club real world show" where the cast comes to a show at the club and they film it for an episode . . . only to find out that seth pulled a switcharoo at the last minute, and had convinced jello to make up with east bay ray, to come out on stage, right into a vicious ten minute version of "mtv, get off the air."

Years ago I thought they should have the "Real World: DC". I figured they would have the roommates work on Capitol Hill. (Do they still make them get jobs as a team?) They'll probably find more drunken locations such as Adams Morgan to film.
Hey, does "Lie to Me" film here?

same thing. It's supposedly called Blonde Charity Mafia and supposedly it's been picked up by the CW already. boo. Hiss.
If the RW really does come to DC, I don't see how they'd get to invade the 9:30 club without the artists' permission and the club's. And I hope that they wouldn't get those permissions.

Ah! So they do then…cool!
They were under one of the bridges recently – was it Key?
I like their inclusion of accurate local details (bldgs., cities, etc..).
