What's the over/under on how long it takes this show to sell out?
Last time they sold out pretty much the day of but I get the feeling this(these) will be a hotter ticket. Feels like they have had a higher profile over the last year or two.
So this gig is going onsale on Thursday - and due to work i'll be away from a computer most of the day. Are there any boardies that wouldn't mind getting 2 tickets for me? PM me if you can help! (you'll of course be reimbursed immediately)

Funny you should mention her. She's working on mastering her fifth language now, Korean. That after mastering Spanish, German, and French by the time she was five. I attribute her advanced abilities to breastfeeding her until she was three. Of course, she spoke English straight out of the womb. I attribute that to our singing to her when she was still in the womb.

So I reckon she has five languages she could sing Kraftwerk songs in. Alas, she outgrew anything resembling rock music by the time she was four and only listens to classical and jazz these days. Though for some inexplicable reason she has a soft spot for that song from Frozen. Go figure.

speaking of projections: this show is being billed as "Kraftwerk: 3-D Concert".
I asked my boss to take a "15 minutes off" at 10am…  :P

In Germany some of the shows were sold out in 1 minute. I guess it will be the same set as last year but at I will hear the English version for a change!
this is overpriced by $25…..
in other news, looks like the 930 is the smallest venue they're playing this tour, and only one of two GAs (likely some or all the moog fest venues will also be GA, but for now are unknown)

If it sells out (and it likely will) then it won't be. When PIL charged the same and it didn't sell out, that was definitely overpriced.

Yup
I wish I could continue the full album series after seeing four of them last year, but that was also ~65$ per show, so for the 10 shows ~650$, so after all, maybe I am glad I didn't watch all shows.

I have seen all Kraftwerk songs but two of them! ("Metropolis" and "La Forme")
Think the MOMA shows were only $25.

United Palace just added another show.

Damnit!  I've been looking for my lost C since 2005!  I shoulda known…
no problem getting a ticket this morning
i dusted off my rusty ol' ticket buying mojo, fearing a clusterf*ck scramble for tickets… all for naught.  got tickets easy-peasy.

however, at 10:04 all tickets were in baskets… so it's sold out, folks (or about to be).
I'll bet sales will be brisk. Last time they played 2 nights. First night sold out relatively fast, second night didn't sell out which was sort of nice because there was a little room to dance. I am SO excited for this show. It'll be fantastic.
Got mine!  ;D
