Drop Dead, Gorgeous will be at the Fair Oaks Hot Topic on June 19th for an in-store signing. want in? go to the store snd pick up their new cd or tee - first 150 will receive a wristband to meet the band. wristband sales begin on Saturday 6/6 and the store opens at 10am. 150 will sell fast so pick em up on Saturday.

And you're saying this no-name band is charging money for wristbands to meet the band at some kind of in-store where they're only signing? And you think 150 people are going to show up? Yeah, right.

wait, the OP's handle is "jadedcynicism" - i'd say you DID imitate him/her :D although "gratuitouscynicism" or "predictablecynicism" might be more appropriate.

charlie, do you claim to have a handle on what kids are into these days? you been keeping tabs on dc101, college radio, etc? you don't think a band with three albums can attract 150 people at a store that is aligned with the demographic? good thing you're in government and not marketing.
