Markie's new project...

Speaking of Macs, I'm looking for advice on two things: storage and speakers.

I'm not high tech at all, so with my iMac/iTunes in my living room, I end up using it as a stereo (but will never hook that setup to my actual stereo…don't even suggest, I can't imagine). So I need better speakers. I have the Harman Kardon sub-woofer. Would the soundsticks be the best purchase?

Also, I'm getting up to about 35 GB in iTunes. I should probably get external storage; I know it's cheap these days. Suggestions? And can I just keep my whole iTunes deal on the storage drive?

Hook your stereo to your mac….. If your stereo has an auxillary input all you need is a cheap cable.

Friday March 26 @ the Velvet. As of now we appear to be the only band on the bill but we were told there would be 3 other bands on the bill. We have the second slot so we should be playing on or a wee after 10pm.

We shall be a good show and our singer has "squiffy" hair which appeals to Lulu…

I'll try to do something by the end of next week…. I have to travel to Cairo from the 19-25, and then have the gig on the 26 so I'll be jetlagged and disoriented… I will send you and some of the other punters an e-mail…
