Remember folks that almost always a handful of CCs get declined and those tickets go back in the system throughout the day.  In other words, if you want tickets badly enough, check back very frequently all through the day.  We all have heard of situations where someone scores a pair of tickets to a sold out show well into the afternoon of the on sale date after it has sold out.

Yeah persistence is definitely the key with that site. I've sat on the refresh button for up to 45 minutes after supposed "sell outs" and eventually scored tickets to other shows.

oh well, my wife and i tried our best, but got shut out of the pre and regular sale. I guess i'll just keep an eye on tickets.com for awhile and see what happens. thanks for the tip.

I wasn't able to get one. It's fine, they're pricey anyway. I guess i'll just wait to see if one becomes available later for face outside the venue or something.
