http://dc.decider.com/articles/the-black-cat-to-switch-from-ticketmaster-to-ticke,32910/the RnR hotel uses ticket alternative. i've used them before, they're fine. fees are low so that's good, but i've never dealt with their customer service dept. you get a cool fridge magnet when you order tix (or at least you used to) so it was a good place to keep your stubs until show-day. the constant reminder every morning of your show can really get you amped up :)

I love the magnet, too, but they send one with EVERY order so now I have seven of them. I'm running out of fridge space.
Now if only Seth would dump tickets.com for a more affordable service…

Why doesn't the club just do all ticketing in-house? Is it much of a hassle?

I think seth answered that question before. They are not in the business to sell tickets.
I know venues in San Francisco who have their own ticketing in house and the fees are high…

Ahh…I figured fees might have had something to do with it.
