The Raveonettes

The Raveonettes asked us to design the posters to kick off their tour in NYC and their show in DC this Friday at the 9:30 Club. The themes of candy, lust, and sinister people run throughout the music and played a major part of these posters. I picked up a poster at tonight's show. My third El Jefe Raveonettes poster. Love 'em.
I got that Webster Hall poster, and I love it. Great job!
Thank you. They are bot now available. question, how much were they selling them for? I have gotten some emails that they were not available which I guess means they sold out. Thanks.

Shit, they were $20 in NYC.
Glad people like them!
I got the DC poster for $15 at the 9:30 Club show.

Does anyone have a setlist to post for either Ottobar or 9:30 club?
oh man that webstar hall one would give quentin tarantino such a boner
Has it been said yet that the Black Angels were awesome?

Because they were.

The JAMC-ness of the Raveonettes gets more and more in the way of my enjoyment of them each time I see them.

I understand bands influencing other bands but this goes far beyond that.

many many times… ;D i"ll be glad when they come back to headline their own show
I was actually underwhelmed by the Black Angels. I liked them a lot more when I saw them in 2006. I think it's mostly because I like their first album more than their second though, but I also thought their performance lacked intensity, for lack of a better word. They're still a good band though.

I love The Raveonettes, and I had a lot of fun dancing at this show. Good crowd. Unfortunately, I don't think the new album is nearly as good as last year's "Lust Lust Lust", which was easily one of 2008's best albums.
Agreed re: the first Black Angels album being better than the second.

It was my first time seeing them so I had nothing else to compare it to.
