Ok who's snowed in?

Yeah, I have a ticket but am honestly way too comfortable right now to go anywhere.

Bummer.
i am the definition of snowed in.  we got 24 inches (roughly) where i am at.  i live in the country country mountains, which is the country version of the country . . . in the mountains.  my little gravel road which leads to another little gravel road which leads to the main road (which is a small, two lane paved path winding through the national forest) has been plowed by the locals a few times.  my driveway however, which is about 100 feet, is still under 24 inches.  my car is buried alive.  some melted today thank god, but i am not about to shovel when i can just eat chocolate covered cherries, play rpgs, listen to sirius, watch free porn, lay in bed all day and try to find more obscure bacon pictures.  i think i'll make the neighbors think i'm high on crack and go grill hamburgers outside tonight.  nothing like the taste of meat.
i'm very surprised they didn't postpone the show.  Is the metro running in DC?

haha great post.  Yeah I was wondering what the hell do people do who have those long ass gravel driveways, like the people in the boonies.  I mean this was a huge snowfall you can't even drive over that stuff.
Underground is running but last I read, above ground is still closed.

Walkonby is a bear's bear.
I wish I could find kids to shovel, but over the years I've never seen one of them pick up a shovel. ???
I found a guy to help me today and offered him $, but he turned it down and said "nope, we're neighbors."
:) Met a few other nice neighbors in the process too. I should have shoveled last night, when the snow was fresh. It was nice out then, actually, but when the snow was partial rain, I went in. Caught up on "30 Rock".
Saw plenty of passenger cars (Accords) get stuck today, and even a few SUVs and trucks. Many shoveled out their passenger cars, but not their SUVs?
Anyhow, carpooling tomorrow.
I had my son Steven go over to the elderly couple next door today to check on them.  We hadn't seen them since the snow.  He took the snow shovel over and did their porch, walk, and a path to the mail box for them.  When he was done the fellow came out and asked if he could do the whole driveway and Steven said yes.  The man gave Steven two $20s when he was done.  I think he knew Steven has had a really hard tiem finding work since he graduated HS back in June.
Scream show was awesome! Brought my own shovel and got an ideal parking spot a few hundred feet from the club. No biggie. The crowd fed off Pete's energy and went ballistic. I guess Scream is back together for real and this is not just a one-off. No Dave Grohl for this show.
