Comparison to Wolftrap show?
Wilco reviews/setlist anyone?
I wasn't at Wolftrap, but this was about the best Wilco show of the 20 or so I've seen. Great setlist with some rarities (Nothingsever…, When You Wake Up Feeling Old, Someday Some Morning Sometime, When the Roses Bloom Again).
What really set the show apart for me was the mid-show acoustic set. Nels Cline on acoustic guitar was insane, and the acoustic set had a great selection of songs, some of which were significantly reworked for an acoustic arrangement (Spiders, Kamera, Laminated Cat).
Plus, Strathmore is a gorgeous venue with perfect sound.
When they play Jesus, etc. these days, Jeff asks the crowd to sing along and lets the crowd sing it by themselves up until the "Our love" part. The singalong last night really sucked as compared to the one I saw in Michigan earlier this year. I don't know if more people didn't actually know the song, or if the DC crowd was too restrained to actually sing it. Jeff commented on how we sucked at it as well.

DC crowds pretty much always suck….although they had it going on at Bon Jovi earlier this week…

in the background of the Rahm Emanuel photo, one can clearly see callat703/sage703 :)
(sitting in what should have been my seat…)
So is he a bald guy, an old guy, a fratboy looking guy, or a guy with a Sunday School haircut?

it must be the guy next to the girl with the plaid shirt ;D
i'm guessing he's the guy with the white shirt.
i'm guessing he IS rahm emanuel
White shirt guy and the guy to his right would fit in nicely at Sunday School.
