Step Brothers was absolutely horrendous. Just having Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly scream profanities for an hour and 40 minutes is not good comedy.

i suppose it helps to know the biographical stories of johnny cash and jerry lee lewis. i think i enjoyed it mostly because of those references. and i agree with nkotb regarding "step brothers" sucking compared to "walk hard".

It flew kind of under the radar, I liked it a lot. I thought it was hilarious, the Beatles scene is amazing.
