Last - Coheed and Cambria last night

I'm only collecting a paycheck for one of those shows

it would be cool there was a website where you could see every show + date at the old club…wish i could remember my first show there.

isn't madgypsy staph at 930??  We need a pics to names section on here.  Only person I can put a face to a name is thatguy  ;D

My first was Clutch w/ Biohazard & Reflux in January 2002

most recent was Jedi Mind Tricks w/ Mr. Lif in April 2010

Hahaha, oh god. I think it was CKY in 2003? I have the ticket stub in my pile, I'll have to look that up. And I do believe the last one I went to was Arctic Monkeys a few months back… I have a terrible memory.

1st at old 930: Dillon Fence '94. The club moved shortly thereafter.
Went through my Bayou/Black Cat phase, then, 1st at new: JSBX/Cibo Matto/Jesus Lizard NYE '97.
Our car was broken into. Dampened the after show high but learned lessons quick.

Most recent? Wow, just realized I don't think I've been this year. Snowpocalypse, then traveling, kept me away. Otherwise, I would have seen Air, Anvil, Jakob Dylan and Mumford & Sons. Last show was either Josh Ritter, or Ben Gibbard / Jay Farrar last Dec.

I think my first was Kasabian in 2005ish… Last one, I think was Sonic Youth last summer.  I might be wrong on both though.

while looking for the arctic monkeys stub, i came across one, dated 25 feb 2005 for… STS9.  i'm pretty sure that pre-dates the roots show that year.  i hope that wasn't my first show.

I'm from Hampton Roads, VA, so I remember attending the Helmet show and thinking, "This place is like The NorVa!" Haha.

My first D.C. area show was probably Glassjaw or Local H a few years earlier. I also saw Pearl Jam in Bristow in 2003 and Ambulance LTD at Black Cat in 2004 before finally going to the 9:30 Club.
