Well I will be in St. Louis at the same time as Hole. Tickets are significantly cheaper at 32.50 I might just go to it to judge for myself.
Hole

Sounds like Hole was worse than The Vines. At least The Vines didn't speak on and on incoherently, their playing and singing was just the train wreck. I still bring up Badly Drawn Boy…I just remember folks saying how terrible that was…did he start crying….or…was mad / drunk?
(Re: Cat Power, yes, the show she ran off stage)
I saw a Badly Drawn Boy a couple of years back at the club. I don't remember anything particularly awful about his performance. I did leave a bit early as I got bored. I guess I can say it pretty much a show you would forget more than say was totally awful.
Certainly a lot better than the Sisters of Mercys show at the club (last one).

doomie, after checking out the pix in the above story, are you still so smitten with the camera-woman/iphone holder? not looking too hawt IMO…
One of the great things about this big old world is that there's somebody for everyone.

Well, some guys are into the look of a woman who apparantly just ate an entire steer.
That BYT review was so fucking retarded. "The show was messy, but this is punk."

As always, the real gold is in the comments:
I was at this show and have been to hundreds of shows in my lifetime and this was seriously the best show I have ever been to. … She thought it was awesome that there were black people at her show and pulled them onstage with her. I thought she was magnetic and beautiful. The show was beyond my wildest expectations and everyone who was a true Hole fan got more than their money's worth.
^ Oh. My. God.
I still can't get over the Black people comment but now I'm not sure which is worse, Courtney's comment or the commenter's statement regarding Black people.
Firebutt, why weren't you on stage setting this bitch straight!?!?

Losers. If they haven't figured out how to game the system by now, they will never figure it out.
byt really is the worst thing in dc period.
"punk" reporting about dischord doesnt really count for byt
only punk they ever did was when they tried to report on the dc debate fan death sort of started
even then, we arent a punk label.
that being said, if they wanna review more of my records, and podcast about me, im all for it

^ HAHAHA!!!!
Now probably the one time that he regrets it.

I wish I was black. Then I could get on stage more.
Man, the club is on a memory-making roll for me. Three people shot last time I was there, then this disaster on Sunday. I was kinda pissed at first, but looking back on it I'm glad I was at this historically shitty show. Kinda like seeing wasted Elvis in Vegas. My folks told me about seeing Judy Garland one time in the 60s and she was so drunk she just sat on the stage and talked the whole time. Yeah, it sucked, but they still remember it 50 years later.
the person just compared a hole to judy . . . oh the fricking humanity.
