Strasburg out 12-18 months

Nats slogan: "If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all"
Please.  You guys have been disappointed since 2005.  Us Baltimore Orioles fans have been disappointed since 1983 (or 1996).

Sorry about Strasburg though.  Good pitcher…

I would kill for a season anywhere close to '97.

Duuuuddee! God damn DC teams! Can't 1 god damn thing go right! I hope this doesn't lead to disappointment from now til December….and then disappointment in May…again…

'til december?  why december?

are you referring to the post-season?  if so, it's not like strasburg was the team's ticket to the post-season… he was more like their shot at a .500 season.
Til December - likely the end of Skins season
Til May - last 2 times the Caps seasons have ended….pre-maturely.

Yeah, we've been disappointing since 2005, so? I'm just saying Strassy is a huge positive beam for the team to build around and now he's out for 12-18!? Ridiculous! I'm not saying we would even have a record above .500, but still it's a pretty big blow to the team.

(he'll be fine when he gets back)
This will give the Nats a little time to construct a team around him for when he gets back.  Lets stay postive!
Feel bad for the kid but not for the crappy DC fans.

Go find yourself on the business end of a robbery gone bad.

but a robbery gone bad could just result in the robber running away . . . so you want jeffml to go find himself, then run away?
The term "robbery gone bad" is only used when someone dies during the course of a robbery, idiot.

actually, anything can mean anything, seeing how nothing means the same thing twice to two different people.  as in "idiot" can mean someone who is stupid . . . or in my case, i guess someone who doesn't respond with an insult.
it's all, like, relative.

How about….the business end of a knife wound….eh?
I accept the original insult as written.  Carry on.
