VFest carpool thread

Hey!

So I and a few other boardies I know are in need of rides to this thing on Saturday.  Since it would be both friendly and environmentally friendly to carpool, I though I'd start a carpool thread.

If you can offer a ride, post where you are leaving from and/or where you can pick up folks (like say the Beltsville Metro stop, which is the closest to MPP from what I've heard) and what time you're heading out.

If you need a ride, post comparable information.

Hopefully this will help a few people here out.

As for me, I'm in NW, but I can get anywhere Metro goes.  I'd prefer to leave in the afternoon, but I'm flexible.

Thanks for being so helpful Sawyer ;)

Some of us are trying to reduce our carbon footprint.

Last year, FreeFest supposedly had special parking privileges for people who carpooled.  What happened to that this year?

It's the Greenbelt stop, on the Green Line. Be green. Wear green.
reducing carbon footprint . . . or being a cheap bastard who's going to realize real quick that going to concerts with others, especially strangers will be a unorganized mess.  are you gonna hang out together all day to share beers, to reduce "your mouth prints" on cups?

I see somebody is cranky today!
Or jealous.

Stuck at work until 3 but would love to go up for Pavement and whatever else is happening in the afternoon. In NW near Gallery Place but can also go where Metro goes.

P.S. Rhett, your douche schtick got old about five years ago.
P.P.S. Walkie, a few of us looking already know each other.
There are going to be some road closures in the area too, and they are policing the mall parking lot to try to keep people out from there.

Me I am thinking of biking over.
What kind of bike will Sir Richard be pedalling in on?

Or will he be getting a carpool ride in Seth's Prius?

Here, I'll put a little smiley face so mr. crybaby doesn't call me names.  ;D

Getting this thread back on target.. Once the schedule is out I'd be willing to discuss carpooling from the greenbelt area…
