I thought with all the hype there must have been something wrong with it and was ready to trash it but…damn that's a good record.

The Killers - Hot Fuss

They come across as poseur tools . . . but darnit the songs are good. I think a lesson is never bet against anything Alan Moulder is involved with.

I think 95% of the bands out there come out as poseur tools. Even our favorites.

I'm with you on the Kylie album, although, beyond the singles, the Annie disc didn't do anything for me.

Still, I wanted to hate this, but I'll be damned if it isn't a fairly fun album:
