Set times at Verizon?

So I've never seen a concert at Verizon Center before, and uh, cough cough, I'm going to see Lady Gaga. Tickets say show at 8. Scissor Sisters opening. Any idea what this means for set times? Will SS actually start at 8?

they are usually on time at Verizon…8 pm usually means the opener will either start at 8, or 8:15 the latest…

indeed, time printed on the ticket is generally not doors, but start of the show (i.e. openers, if there are any).
