widespread panic not at club

but at warner, tonight and wednesday

what percentage of attendees will make it home without being shot, raped or beaten sillier?  i put the over/under at 10%.

they'll all be huffing balloons.  they won't care.

i rode past warner at 12:30am and they were still going at it with the tanks and ballons out front.

so so show . . . the young kids are ruining the scene.  like phish.  maybe last year seeing widespread.  might switch over to dc101 rock, like hinder and papa roach.  i wanna see drunk woman titties and balding men with bandanas on their head.

Well, you made it 12 years longer than I did.  Felt that way about "the scene" a long time ago…

to me it was unbelievable that people were selling and inhaling nitrous ballons right in front of warner before the show. not on the sides, but right out front.  it got as cheap as 3 for $10.  warner had people sweeping up the spent ballons off the sidewalk.

i watched the so called "mafia" at both shows slinging their wares.  they reminded me of that gang of circus freaks from the second tim burton batman film.  it was priceless.  i saw a guy fall into a full seizure right there on the sidewalk from a balloon.  nobody around him knew what to do except freak out and just stare . . . with their balloons in their hands . . . while still hitting them because hey, "they were already paid for."  the guy just stopped seizing, got back up, sat back down . . . and somebody handed him another balloon. 

like i said before, the scene can sometime ruin the band.  like phish.

Suspect it's right in there with not following up on smash and grabs. Ignore it unless it's a higher dollar crime yet below what the high end thieves with too much power are stealing on massive scales in certain protected buildings.

I like the freak show at the jam band shows and am glad they let it go on…its certainly better and more interesting than the music these bands play…


I just can't stand bands like phish/widespread anymore..its pure wankery.. the only good songs are always the covers..
