Red Hot Chili Peppers @ 9:30 Club 1987

Did anyone see them?? I know this show was recorded but i don't know where to see it  :-\
does someone have some infos about it?
thanks
1986 ?
There is a mistake about the date of this video footage. They played at 9:30 Club many times, but i think this footage is from Oct 27, 1987. In some website the date listed is Dec 10, 1986.

Hm.  This tour was just a few years before  Anthony sexually assaulted my friend when they played at George Mason.

Horrible band.  Horrible people.

there goes that thread…

I am pretty sure it was the same year.  Mason day 1987 was the last year they had the beer trucks.  RHCP played in front of the library.
the show chaz is talking about was on '89 at George Mason University Patriot Center, Fairfax.
none could help me with the footage i am looking for?
Pretty sure board member Epstein was there, he is a huge fan
hey man..give us a few hours! :)

The footage isn't that great.  A bit dark and the sound is a tad muffled.  Have never seen a really low generation copy, though.  Not sure a clean copy is in circulation.

I collect chili peppers footage (from early era) but the only version of this is high gen. I thought i can find a lower gen tape here, or maybe some infos about that show.

I just thought about this today seeing Mason Day banners up.
'Sexually assaulted' is a bit grandiose for what happened, especially on a college campus in the 80's with beer flowing.
It wasn't like he was pulling a move similar to the Steeler's QB.
Wangs had a tendency to flop around on 'em back in the day.
I ditched high school across the street to see them even though I thought Freaky Styley was their last good album.
Seeing them all bolt the scene in a borrowed station wagon with Flea behind the wheel made it worth it.
I should not have put all this out there.
Is this the same chick that would buy everyone in the Rathskeller a beer on the anniversary of her boyfriend's death?
Things are very rapidly going downhill..

I dunno. I kind of like where this thread is going. Sure is more interesting than the topic at the top of the page.
