TAN (SIDEnote??) – we need to come up for a separate word for "monument" for structures built to commemorate ignoble events. We shouldn't use the same word the Flight 93 "monument" as we do the Washington Monument.

I'm also driving to Toronto tomorrow for a work conference that starts Sunday. Work conference for me, summer vacation #2 for my wife and daughter.

I know I'm going to end up wishing I went alone.

Oh, I've definitely already decided to do next year's work conference alone.

This one involves a stop to see Grandma for a few days on the way home. I don't know if Grandma really cares that much about seeing her only grandchild, and I'm fairy certain that granddaughter cares even less, but at least I'm creating the opportunity for it to happen.

Now we are in a lighthouse in Montauk

Now we are in Lewes. We had to drive through an insane megastrip mall to get here.

Waiting for my bistro burger. I hope the caesars dressing doesn’t come back to bite me.
