So, should I buy Sonar tickets tomorrow morning? The link for their site for tickets is still active. Thanks.
Shellac
So….hold off on tickets? hmm.
Anyone else see them in March of 95 at the old Black Cat? That is still probably my favorite show of theirs. Great stuff.
no, i would grab a ticket. by the sounds of it they're still looking to have this show, they just need a new venue. they have already rescheduled other sonar shows so methinks it's just a matter of time. i would expect this show to sell out + you've already decided you want to go = obvious decision to buy, IMO.
at worse you'll be out a few bucks in surcharges.

Tickets are not going onsale tomorrow for Shellac. Just got an email from Todd of Monozine. He said it likely wouldn't be at the ottobar, either.
So, hold on to your hats…

Thanks for reaching out. Shellac tickets will not be going onsale tomorrow. I'm working on an alternative venue and should hopefully have something worked out soon, but there's plenty of time- I announced this very early. Once somethings figured out I'll announce, but if you arent already getting my weekly emailings that announce new shows, please sign up so you hear about it right away-

I got one for you: ask Bob Weston to tell the story about when he was practically strip-searched in front of Steve's old house in Chicago. It's a fantastic story.
Will do. Next time I have him over.
Wait, who the fuck is Bob Weston?
