thanks for the info, I will have to look around to find some framing places here, I didnt think anywhere did it for less than $100

the lovely folks at Paul Frank made just about a handful of those for some Donnas/Alkaline Trio Halloween shows in Chicago a few years ago, and mailed me one of the few. it's always great when they do band collaborations.

I have to respectfully disagree….that Refuse/Eden poster is just out and out annoying.

I LOVE that Wilco poster, but as I'm not a fan of the band, can't have it. Cuts out a lot of great posters for me…(not Wilco in particular, all bands I'm not for which I'm not a fan)

Okay, this may be annoying, but I gotta take a shot. Calla said the VA framing place is at Glebe and Lee.

According to the Yellow Pages, there is no KH Framing there – there are several, but closest is 1222 King Street, Alexandria.

Any of these sound familiar?

Sometimes it takes me a while – clicked on the maps and this is the place at the corner of Glebe and Lee.

Does a poster special mean just a black frame, no mat?

Oh I didn't mean to offend…..art is supposed to bring out emotions, and that one made me irritated for some reason. Doesn't mean it's crap, in fact I'd say it's a compliment for the simple fact it generated an emotion.

As for GGW's usual failed attempt at humour….I wish I had kept some of the posters I took down from the walls of Manchester back in the 70's/80's, I'd probably be able to make a few bob out of them now.

not a very good photo, but this is one of my favorite concert posters. I got one that was hanging in Atomic Books the day of the show, only to find them being sold at the show.
