I thought about this one, but before Jennifer Lopez started singing, she was actually in some pretty good movies and did pretty well with them - "Out of Sight," for example. She was also in that Robert Redford indie film in the past year. And I guess she can sing, it just isn't my thing.

You can't be serious. I mean, she puts on twice the live show as a lot of the performers out there right now…you have to at least give her as much credit as Karen O for stage antics. Plus, I think she has a good voice. I don't necessarily agree with the fact that she (or any of these people) have free-loaded off of their acting careers or siblings careers or whatever to get an album out, when tons of other musicians are working twice as hard; BUT…it could be a lot worse.

Sorry but I find her extremely irritating. I do like her acting though as long as she's playing those goofy ass roles she usually plays. She's perfect for those. Just can't tolerate her though involving anything concerning music. As far as stage antics, that's not singing. The woman just gets on my nerves unless she's playing one of her offbeat roles.

yea j.lo isnt my thing either, but i guess its up in the air for debate. i was watching vh1 and they had something about actors and singers and i didnt know rodney dangerfield had a "rap" song called "no respect" as well, the kid who played bud bundy on married with children had a short lived stint as a rap artist, i thought it was kind of funny

If I remember correctly, one of the big knocks on J-lo is that she COULDN'T sing, she just kinda sing-talked with a breathy voice
