this is a nice album, like a not-as-good early against me!

best line from the paste review:  "It helps that at times Turner?s voice brings to mind an oddly appropriate blend of Billy Bragg sincerity and NoFx leader Fat Mike?s irreverence."

one of the new guys at the club runs a blog about heavy music called "heavy uber alles."  he puts up a list of six songs every tuesday for people to check out.  he asked me to do a guest spot and send him a "tuesday six."  i did my own take on what "heavy" means.  you can check it out here:

so has this thread officially replaced what are you listening to thread?  jag must be pissed.  they are the same thread.  was something wrong with the old thread.  do new thread equal better threads.  it's like starting a thread called, people who have died.
