hope y'all had a wonderful turkey day, and that you didn't go shopping today.  i'm back in my homeland for the TG break.  in case you didn't know:



although they celebrate TG earlier on this side of the 49th, my mom insisted that we have a turkey feast.  i decided to keep it local: we made a bacon-crusted maple-glazed turkey.  it was unquestionably the best turkey i've ever had.  ever.  i highly recommend that next year you look up a recipe that calls for basting the turkey in slightly diluted maple syrup.
