Please keep your list to 20 or less when posting on here. Nobody here cares to look at a 40-50 album eyesore of a list!

a few of these records are still on constant rotation for me. namely, destroyer, washed out, and wu lyf. but as a whole, 2011 really was a pretty mediocre year for music.
this thread is also a scary reminder that we're about a week or two away from the onslaught of "Best Of" lists that come out and make everyone unreasonably butthurt.
Do you mean on here, or in general? I have been working on mine for a few weeks already… It is looking like a top 40 or 50 type of year.
As for 2011 being mediocre… maybe for you, but I thought it was extremely strong, at least upon looking at what I listed for my best of on here. I guess it depends on what kinds of music you like.

Opening for Old 97's at the 9:30 Club on May 31. Maybe Seth will give you a special VIP seat?

Also, I went back and listened to some of her stuff and maybe I didn't give her enough of a chance. She actually sounds pretty good. She'll probably need to watch what she eats; if she puts on too much weight she could easily be a porky midget. ;)
And wow, you're a tough guy. I had one fractured rib and it hurt like fuck. I can't even imagine your pain.
