This news does not appeal

Totally diggin Clapton doing a little clean-up with his fiesty power trio.
"One of the most inspirational artists of our generation", Alicia Keys, doing "Put You Cell Phones in the
Air".
Watching The Who makes me wish Pete Townshend would tour solo, his voice is just in much better than shape Roger's at this point.

Gotta love Roger's shorn chest, though.
I think maybe he's just not a hairy guy.

I don't get Kanye even more than I don't get Bongiovi.
wow, that Kanye performance was horrible.  I've seen him a few times and this was a train wreck.  That drunk uncle bit was a train wreck too
;D
This is the in different part of the show, waiting for the big finale.
I like this acoustic Chris Martin with Michael Stipe
;D

It was ok, but felt rushed and they could have chosen almost any other R.E.M. song to play.
Seriously have they lost Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear?  <holding breathe>
will probably be the last song for that one
;D
I dunno all along they had Grohl playing before Macca…  And McCartney is likely going to close with some Beatles song
Phew - well worth the wait!  Pretty bad ass little song there.  Paul's wacky little electric uke turned up 10 was too cool.
Paul with 3/4 of Nirvana was the best thing I saw on that whole telecast.
Paul's whole set was pretty top notch, he dug a little deep into his solo catalog and sounded much better than he did at the Olympics.  The Who really have no business doing Baba O'Rielly at this point, Roger just can't carry that tune anymore.  Instrumentally, The Who were tight and spot on, that Zak Starkey is a beast. Joel and Waters were border line snoozie fests.  Clapton's set was surprisingly refreshing, as was Springsteen sans Bon Jovi.

I'm hoping there is another Fireman record in the offing with 3/4 of Nirvana doing some of the songs.
Geesh, what they really needed was some TRUE music pioneers.

Like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins, Thompson Twins….basically all the bands that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame give the shaft to! God damnit.
i have to admit….that was pretty awesome
