I would like to add:  Ravens in Conference Championship for second straight year.  and 3rd time in the last 5 seasons.  Redskins last trip to the conference championship 21 years ago.  ouch.  But on the bright side you will have good draft picks to help your franchise what you traded them away for a quarteback who has come up lame?

Yeah, we traded away draft picks for a potential Rookie Of The Year and a first time Pro Bowl Rookie Quarterback…. Totally lame.

If Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson had played at RG3''s level all season, their seasons would have been different.

I just don't see the Ravens stopping that Pats offense at all. Would love to see the juggernauts of 9ers and Pats go head to head. I think they're the 2 best teams.

"We"  you play for the Landover, MD based football team that has Washington in it's name???  Yeah they traded away their future for a guy who has a bad knee.   I wonder how many more years it will be before you make it to the NFL Championship.  Landdover MD's nfl team are going to become the Wizards of Football.

As for the Patriots the Ravens beat them this year.  Would have beat them last year if not for Lee Evans dropping a ball and then Cundiff missing a chip shot.  But you know that is why they play the game.  No one thought the lowly Seahawks could beat the Landover, MD NFL team.

And it must suck for DC and Virginia to not have football teams and Maryland to have two.

So, the Dallas Cowboys shouldn't be called the Dallas Cowboys because they play in Arlington? Is that what you're saying? Or maybe the New York Giants should be called the New Jersey Giants because they play in New Jersey? You're a fucking idiot.

Yeah, we're the Wizards of the NFL because we just won 10 games and won the division and went to the playoffs. Do you know who the Washington Wizards even are?

Who said the Seahawks were lowly? They were favored and almost every football pundit picked the Seahawks to win that game. They were the only road team favored to win. So, maybe know less about what you're talking about next time you make any fucking arguement.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, Patriots make it to the Super Bowl last year. I guess Lady Luck just wasn't on the Ravens side? Last year isn't this year, if you seriously think the Ravens can stop all those weapons the Patriots have you're high and that's fine. I also didn't think they could stop the Colts or the Broncos, obviously I was wrong. I don't want the Ravens to lose, I just don't think they match up well on defense. They can't stop the run and the Pats have 3 stellar running and receiving backs.

WE could go all week on this and never resolve it.. I hardly think the local Baltimore paper is credible… I mean what are they going to say?

yeah they should call them the new jersey giants.  They don't call the devils the New York Devils.  I guess people are idiots.  You can call their team the New York Giants and New Yorkers root for them and you call another team the New Jersey Devils and New Yorkers dont' root for them even though they play in the same place.

So yeah landover nfl team is what I call them.

Who cares who you think is going to win on Sunday?  The game will be decided on the field.  I am sure it will be a close game like the previous patirot/ravens games have been.

And the Landover nfl team and the wizards have both only one playoff round during the last 12 years.  Though the wizards have been in the playoffs more.  two sucky teams.

Of course we can't resolve it.  We weren't there.  The prosecution were complete idiots and let the defense lead the trial so there is nothing to be gained by reading the transcript.  So none of us knows what really happened.
You're "sure it's going to be a close game"? Lol, bro, "who cares who do you think is going to win on Sunday? The game will be decided on the field."

Seriously?  Because the paper is called the Baltimore Sun it's not credible reporting on something involving a Baltimore sports figure?  Do you feel the same way about the RG3 stories in the Post?

Definitely. I do.
so I'm hoping Niners/Patriots…

I guess this is the match up most people want to see? ALthough there are some real Brady haters I guess…
I would like to, Ravens defense has too many holes in it. 9ers abused the option play on Saturday and killed the Packers. Ravens already saw the option against the Skins this year and ended up losing, granted it was a close game, but they did knock out RG3 and Kirk Cousins came in and took care of the rest. I think the 9ers are more dangerous and the Ravens would probably lose to the 9ers.

I honestly think Ravens/Falcons would be fairly even matched and a good game, same as Pats/9ers. If it's mixed and matched, I think it will be one sided.

By saying Cousins coming in and taking care of the rest, you mean the atrocious out of bounds call that un-iced the Ravens win and gave the Skins a miracle chance to come back and win, right?

So if the Ravens win yet again on Sunday you are still going to predict they will lose to the 49ers even though you predicted them to lose 3 times in a row and were wrong.  I mean even at this point you have shown no ability to predict any of the games.  Why do you continue to show your ignorance?
Recent Ravens / Pats games have been close.  No reason to think this one will be any different.  I think both defenses are suspect, although the Ravens have been playing better lately.  Flacco's going to need to play as well as he did in last year's championship game.  They'll need to put a bunch of points on the board.

Damn straight

@atomicfront: Ravens haven't won yet you mouth breather. Did I say the Ravens WILL lose? I said THEY WILL HAVE A TOUGH TIME STOPPING THE PATS OFFENSE. Learn to read you fuck. I can't stress this enough, the Ravens defense WILL HAVE. A TOUGH TIME. STOPPING THE PATRIOTS OFFENSE. Did I say they can't? Nope. They will have a tough time, just like the Patriots will have a tough time against Ray Rice. If the Ravens become one dimensional, I see it being even tougher for the Ravens offense. So, yeah, I must be real ignorant to look at both sides of the statement.

Looking forward to the Pats/Ravens game more, I just don't think the Falcons have a chance. Even if they are at home…. If they lose, will people still think of them as chokers? Then the arguement is "Well, they've only won ONE playoff game". Poor Falcons.
It will be a close game.  Ravens have to get into Tom Brady's head.  That is difficult to do.  They should have won last year, and this game should be just as much of a nailbiter.

Which will hopefully end in a Ravens win!

I'm just glad it's not the Manning/Brady game Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison were "so looking forward to" when the playoffs began.  Cannot wait to see them eat their words.
who gives a rats ass about this stuff anyway cause hockey starts on Saturday!!!!
wasn't hockey gone for like ten years . . . and nobody cared?  the nfl gets rid of the officials for five minutes, and the world almost stopped.
