This year I am thankful for...

I just didn't want to speak for you, but I will remember you typed this on Thursday when I toast to "Our President" with my glass from Orin Swift Cellars…

And yes sonick, back to the thank you's….
im thankful for _still_ having a job, although considering our bonuses just got a lot smaller, the job could be next :(

I'm thankful for that most socialist of institutions, the state-supported library, for offering me gainful employment in these uncertain times.
I'm extra thankful this year for the 9:30 staph, who've helped me in ways they don't even know.
So many things…

My new scarf, my girlfriend, the Detroit Red Wings, Jessica Rose finding steady work, Lifetime's fabulous miniseries on Coco Chanel, relatively good health, the Nate/Jenny relationship on Gossip Girl, our new 1000 thread count sheets, Michigan's boosters having the money to buy out the abortion that is RichRod, the upcoming Vampire Weekend shows…
you listed your new scarf before your girlfriend? i'm sure she's thrilled.
I stand by my list.
Maybe it's Hermes or something.
My better half, Obama winning, a friend or two, and all the great concerts I saw this year..This really was a great year concertwise for me… And thanks to the new camera I bought in May I actually have a record of most of them….

Financially/"career"wise a very poor year…disconcertingly so..
You know what? While I still stand by my belief that spending all the capital the democrats have gained under Bush II on Obama was a mistake, I am absoultely glad we no longer have a Republican in office. The prospect of Biden and Hillary being the VP/Secretary of State has me downright giddy. As does Napolitano as AG.

I'm thankful for family, friends, and health; for living in a great city; and for living in a country that made a difficult choice to do the right thing.

Oh, and I'm also thankful that in real life, I rarely have to deal with conversations interrupted by Republican and libertarian boors.

HaHA! Sorry couldn't help myself being West Virginian and all.

I'm thankful for the human beings around me who make me glad to be alive.

I bet a what are you pissed about thread would be off the charts.

Happy Thanksgiving Holiday to all ya. Even you Flawd, wherever you are. Rock on my friend!
Hope it's all you you guys expected and then some.

p.s. I believe Walkonby's last statement prior to Heather's post and Heather's following post listing Walkonby are both incorrect.
However, I'm thankful they're both here.
