I think they peaked with Absolution
The one after that was goofy fun but a step down and the two after that have been a snore

Really? Black Holes & Revelations was amazing. Totally disinterested in the last 2 though. Still an amazing band live though.
Got floor as well, see y'all there.
wow… tickets were $15 more expensive if bought via the bands presale, thanks to ridiculous fees and no free shipping options.  even face price was $2.20 higher!

TM is cheaper.  who'd a thunk it.

corrected, see below.
Got floors as well.

And as much as I like the idea of paperless ticketing in principle, it makes you a bit nervous for a show that is 5 months away.

i got 4 in the main concourse through the bands presale yesterday for $287.90 total including the $2.50 shipping fee.  Just pulled 4 similar tickets on ticketmaster showing $316.60.  Not sure what options you had that made it more expensive on TM.
yup, you're right.  i just check and the reason it was cheaper was because i pulled $50 tickets on TM but got $65 tickets via presale.  my mistake.

TM still sucks, yeay!

And of course my worst fears come true.  Work trip gets moved to the week of the show and now I'm stuck holding these paperless tickets.

well that sucks.  however, it allowed you - and a lot of other people - to get tickets.  the alternative would be to have traditional hard tickets, in which case scalpers would have scooped up a lot more of them.
