The stuff I watched this weekend was uniformly underwhelming. Blur were ok, I guess. Alt-J were kinda boring. Social D were not good at all. Last night I flipped back and forth between Father John Misty and Vampire Weekend and called it a night. Guess you had to be there to get the full impact.

I'm so glad that it isn't just me. The clips I've seen have made me wonder if I'm just get old or are a bunch of these performances just getting phoned in? I know these bands are getting paid really well to do these gigs, but there's more to it than just showing up. I did enjoy what I saw of Blur's set and thought they sounded good, though I'd happily take the 9:30 gig (even sans Graham) again as opposed to a huge festival.
